May series – Build it Big. Build it Fast
Host - 2007 Eagle Winner & Double Platinum Debbie McDonald
Beginning on Wednesday, May 18, our Wednesday night conference calls will be at 10 PM ET!
Angela - now is the time to review 2011…it’s just about the half way point of the year… Now is a great time to re-evaluate how things are going. Ask yourselves.. Where can I improve and how can I move forward?
Attending upcoming events such as one of the upcoming Celebration Tour events, regional rallies, and local events help get you refocused and motivated.
In this month’s Success Club, check out …”Dance in the Rain” by Vivian Greene.
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...It's about learning to dance in the rain."
Learning to dance in the rain is the power of gratitude.
Guest Speaker - 2009 Eagle Winner & Double Platinum Brad Barton
Brad’s quote - “This business is easier to build fast than it is slow. It’s also more fun when you build it fast."
Urgency is the key.
Your mindset – urgency in your mind and translate that into your voice as well.
It all starts in your mind..
As Henry Ford said, “if you believe you can, you can and if you believe you can’t, you can’t. Either way you’re right.”
Don Garrison has said, “The philosophy is not what you’re gaining, but rather what you’re losing…
Urgency also motivates people through fear of loss. Makes people decide.
Call lots of people..Don’t try to make their decision for them.
Understand the marketing plan.
This is your chance to get in on it… now ..time sensitive."

Angela – Darren Hardy will be our guest speaker on April 20th Wednesday’s Business Development Call.
A great book I came across in our Success Club is “Secrets of the World Class , Turning Mediocrity into Greatness”.
Many people have that “microwave thinking” which is the expectation that things will happen immediately and compensation should immediately as well. Champions don’t fall into that way of thinking. Champion are different. Our champions (Platinums and Double Platinums) make good, consistent efforts every day.
Author Steve Siebold – “Champions believe that every effort performed with good intentions yield some form of compensation at some point”. The label of a champion is one that applies to someone who sacrifices through hard work and a consistent desire to achieve.
People become champions by perfecting their competencies so much so, until other people label them and recognize them as champions.
Critical thinking question –Am I more interested in pleasure or gratification?
Host - Eagle Winner & Double Platinum Sheila Steffes
Guest speaker - Eagle Winner & Double Platinum - Debbie McDonald – How to get a new person started, Building a team.
Privilege and passionate
Memberships = money
Building teams = becoming wealthy. Create belief and hope for the future.
Residual income secret – is a result of how good you get at building teams of people.
3 keys to building teams -
1 –Lay Foundation - If you don’t lead them, they will leave you… book the meeting the night they join your business. Immediate action!
Create expectations , get excited, create vision, - speed of the leader, speed of the group.
meetings create points and points create checks
2 – Duplicate don’t innovate!
Use tools available: Game Plan Training Book, RTFF and Compensation Plan Training Video, etc.
3 – Relationships are the foundations of teams

Team -Building Series
Thursday, March 31 – Sunday, April 3
Duplication
Consistency
Focus
Emotion
Today, let’s talk about another key element - Commitment. Commitment is a necessity for team-building.
Ryan Chamberlin– There are 3 core components in commitment that change everything. These impact all we do.
1 Skills- the right actions/activity done consistently = right results
An important question to ask yourself is… Is your reason big enough? Meaning what are you willing to give up? Your answer is completely tied to your dream, your why.
So be sure to clarify your why in order to do what’s necessary to embrace your dream.
2 Character – you attract who you are not who you want. Pursuit of leadership.
In John Maxwell’s “Developing the Leader Within You”, he never mentions how to be a leader. Instead, he focuses on attitude, belief, self-image, all the things that define a leader.
We don’t accept applications, only commitments – armed forces billboard
Becoming a leader requires consistent give and take.
Commitment= playing baseball. DMO = Daily Method of Operation - to expose people to our concept correctly.
Move to action – in counsel mode, learn what to do and say about building business and then do it and say it. Spend time with the ones that are interested, show the program to them only.
3 Urgency -speed at which we pursue our goals and dreams. Your deadline is your transfer of commitment to action. Then there’s momentum - sustained level of commitment.

Networking is a tool that can provide a great opportunity to build your business, at the same time it is a skill that does not come naturally to everyone. Have you ever been at a function and felt nervous or uncomfortable talking with others? Have you ever collected contact information, but never reached out to that person after the event was over? Today, we will discuss how to use networking effectively and how to get the most out of it.
Looking for events? Try volunteering. Getting involved with a place of worship or a charitable organization is a great way to meet new people and establish contacts. Another way is to join your local Chamber of Commerce, just make sure you follow your company’s rules about doing so.
Prepare for the event. Make sure that you arrive at the event with a large supply of business cards and any flyers you have on hand. Have a plan in your mind, what is your goal for this event? Bring any business builder tools you may have such as CDs and DVDs, workbooks, etc.
Be Genuine. Just as you know in social situations when someone is mingling for personal gain, others will know if you do it. Be honest, respectful and genuine in your conversations. Listen to others and show them the same respect they show you.
Educate, don’t sell. When talking about yourself and your business, make sure to inform and educate your audience rather than trying to sell your opportunity. This provides you with the chance to build relationships and to gain interest without hard selling.
Connect. Listen to others for common ground and common interests. These common interests provide a great basis on which to build relationships.
Be happy, be useful. Always be positive and happy when networking. Provide useful information and introduction whenever possible. As you establish yourself as the person to know at events, you can connect better with individuals.
Deal with Rejection. An introduction doesn’t always go the way you would like, some people aren’t interested. Don’t get discouraged, just move on. Remember the Golden Rule “One should treat others, as one would like others to treat oneself.”
Ask to be introduced. If you are new to a situation ask to be introduced. This allows you to establish contacts quickly and get a third person’s perspective on who is important to know.
Be Brief. People will remember your information better if it is shorter. The longer you talk, the more difficult it is to maintain focus. Prepare a short synopsis about yourself and your business ahead of time.
Follow up. Make sure that once the event is over and you have collected the business cards of the people you have met, reach out to them, either with a phone call or a personally written note.

Angela – Eagle Winners Larry & Debbie McDonald in town recently to share some of their wisdom, valuable Eagle nuggets and provide some input for TNTV content.
Upcoming Imagine convention, March 31-April 3, 2011. Eagle survey questions were sent to those folks already registered for convention. We had such terrific responses, that the Eagles are excited to address those main topics at convention on Friday’s All-Access Leadership Day.
A great book that was included in a recent Success Club - “Even Eagles Need a Push”. In the book mentions Olympic champion ice skater Scott Hamilton, and here’s a great quote: “There are those days when it’s hard to put one foot in front of the other, but those are the days when champions are created. It’s about making the most of the minutes you are given”. Likewise, our Eagles are champions. They too go through difficult days and face challenges head on.
Sheila Steffes – “Make each day better and better. Step by step, one foot in front of the other”.
So far, over the last few weeks, in our team-building series, we’ve discussed the importance of focus, duplication & promotion.
Today, Double Platinum Jennifer Keller will speak on the importance of the home team.
Jennifer Keller – Home Team - family
- Daily impact on your life & home.
- Connecting with others
- Foundation built at home
- Open and constant communication
- Take advantage of each other’s strengths to build on.
- Learn to compromise and go outside of your comfort zone.
- Make temporary sacrifices for the end goal.
- Remember, your team is constantly watching you and duplicating you and what you do.
