Host – 2007 Eagle Winner & Double Platinum Debbie McDonald
“Good morning Team National. I can hear the excitement from callers all across this great country. I want to say a special welcome to you and thank you for joining me on the Wednesday Business Development & Leadership conference call.  I will be hosting these calls all month long. And I have to say, we have an incredible month lined up for you with great, phenomenal speakers.” -  Debbie
Our Winterfest promo sure is keeping the spark lit and increasing momentum throughout our sales field. We are headed for one of the best times of the year, as fall approaches and school starts back and we’re gearing up for the holidays. Now is the time to build to those local and regional events and make it happen with Team National.

Team National President & CEO Angela

“Good morning all. Many of you may have read on Facebook that the corporate office was struck by lightning . Rest assured, all are safe and sound. The team here has done a phenomenal job and worked throughout the night to restore our servers and thankfully, no damage has been done.  Now, we are glad to say that all phone lines are up and running and all websites are up and in working order as well. Although we are still without air and lights at the corporate office, as far as the field is concerned, all is up and running and okay.

Here’s a great take away: Things will not always go the way you planned, you will undoubtedly hit road bumps, strikes of lightning in life and in your business and you may even encounter blackouts. When these things happen to you, you need to ask yourself, do I go forward and get through the blackout knowing it is only a temporary road block or do I let it consume me? The choice is yours.

Guest speakers: Platinums Craig & Michelle Gregory from Monroe LA
“We’re both 42 years old and have been married for 20 years. We have 2 kids, a son who is 16 and a daughter who is 1.” -  Michelle
Here’s a valuable nugget we learned along the way:
" Reach out to all people, even the busy ones. You are not inconveniencing them, cause the right people will see it and act on it.” - Michelle
Prior to Team National, Craig was real estate investor, general contractor and a varsity football coach. I sold real estate and was trying to keep our busy family schedule organized.  Then, in July of 2008, a friend approached Craig with the TN opportunity. Thankfully, he was open-minded and very interested right from the beginning. I wasn’t interested in adding anything else to our already hectic lives. Craig read ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ by Robert Kiyosaki and was interested in creating other streams of income, but this time with time freedom and a balance of life.

“Craig really understood the compensation plan and saw the potential to grow it and create a residual income. He involved me in the savings side of TN so I could at least see the value and he attended meeting and events. Since I knew it was important to him for me to come to the Super Saturdays, his dreams became my dreams.

Here’s another great nugget we learned: Be supportive as a spouse and be involved when you can be.  My belief in the business grew, as ventured out and met more people and attended more events.  My love for the company grew, and as time went on, I noticed Craig’s commitment was paying off. His commitment did not waiver. We grew together, not apart. We set several attainable small goals. Craig was the leader and set the pace. We built those relationships and friendships. We never knew how amazing this would be. And before we knew it, our schedule became more and more flexible.

These days, we are stay-at-home parents and have the flexibility to plan our day together.

Nugget: You need that strong desire and stay the course in order to change your lifestyle.   Make temporary sacrifices, while helping others achieve their dreams too.
"We are so glad that we have so many positive influences from our TN people that we’re comfortable with around our kids. You can’t replace that. We strategize with each other. We remain focused and keep that Platinum mindset.” - Craig
1- Think like a winner. You have to expect to win.
“We just chose to focus on those who did decide to join us.  We didn’t worry about the ones who didn’t.” - Craig
“Winners don’t make excuses they just get the job done.” - Craig
2 - Follow the path to success. We were coachable and followed the system. Keep consistent.

Listen to success club and reading those books.
“We became success automobile After temporary small inconveniences,   now we can choose our own schedules and lives our dream lifestyle.” - Craig
3 – Determine your why. Get a crystal clear image of what you want. Dreamboard. Write down goals in pencil and update them accordingly.

4 – We built and continue to build teams of people. We recruited and continue to recruit people that shared our vision, like-minded people.

Become the encourager. I believe in you. Build your teams and be the role model to duplicate.
“The 3 E’s: Equip, Empower and Encourage your teams and duplicate that and your teams will grow.” - Craig
Invest in a lot of people. They don’t all build the business, but that’s what pays big dividends in Team National.” - Craig
The book, ‘Lead Vertically’ by Craig Johnson is a great read about the importance of the team not the size of it. Quality not quantity.
“It’s crucial to realize how important the spouses are. We, as wives and women, sometimes may forget how important our roles are. Partnerships and support are critical to build the life you desire.” - Debbie
“Even if you have a full plate ladies, juggling career, family and home, l here’s a piece of inspiring advice,  just do whatever you have to do to help your spouse be successful” – Michelle
It is so worth it. We’re both now stay at home parents. Just know that it can happen for you. Most importantly, tell your spouse they are doing a great job. Be the encourager all the time. You have the most influence on your spouse.  Give to your spouse instead of get from your spouse.  Build him up.

As Larry says,” A man will slay dragons for the woman of his dreams.”
"We can’t be everything to everybody".Craig
Some of those things you look for in those select people:

1 – Who is doing the activity to be a Platinum. Tracked by the momentum builder sheet.

2 – Are they reading every day, getting on calls and attending conventions?
“To get more, you have to become more like making those temporary sacrifices, showing up at events and doing the calls.” - Craig
3 – Invest in your people.  Spend time with them. Find out where they are in their lives.
