Host – Double Platinum Ken Kelm

“Good morning Team National. It is certainly my pleasure to be the host on this morning’s call. I gotta tell you, there may be a hurricane sweeping across the Gulf and headed for New Orleans, but I gotta tell you, there’s a breath of fresh air sweeping across this nation with TN. It is red hot and rolling.” – Ken

Team National President & CEO Angela Chrysler

“Our hearts and prayers go out to anyone who may be in the path of the hurricane. Folks, we are grateful though, that there is still so much great stuff going on in Team National, like our Winterfest promo. Go to bign.com and check out the details. Earn those 15 points.” - Angela
“I’m excited for folks to get out there and share our awesome opportunity because there’s no greater way, than in direct sales to help others help themselves, their families and others. It’s always in style to save money.” – Angela

Revisit these calls on bign.com. They are recorded and online for a week.

Today’s Topic: Knowledge

So now you are ready to start…You purchased your membership purchase and started to dust off your dreams. You are at the highest level of fear and anxiety and at the lowest level of knowledge. Lots of self doubt has set in s you approach a new and unknown area. To overcome this fear, you need to acquire knowledge and experience.

Everything you need comes in the form of tools and of course, your upline.

We just revamped our tools folks. The Game Plan Training Book, for example, is an excellent resource to gain the knowledge and guide you step by step. Also, be sure to allow your host to start you on the right track and explain the basic activities. Make proper and sufficient phone calls. Set up follow up schedules and procedures.

“One thing rookies do, and do wrong, is they try to convince everyone. This is when they are at the height of ignorance because at this point, they are just working off excitement, which can lead to  diarrhea of the mouth. Do what the pros do,  let the proven system work for you. Don’t reinvent the wheel. ” - Ken

3 kinds of knowledge:

1 Learned Knowledge – Utilize the Game Plan Training Book, attend local, regional and national events and counsel upline.  Once you start to gain this knowledge, it’s all useless until it is applied. So, go to WORK!

2 Activity Knowledge - Actual application of what you learn. Attitude is 95% of the equation, but you must put it into motion. It will be uncomfortable at first, but without practice, nothing will happen.

“Over time, with more practice, the easier it becomes.  Repetition and practice makes perfect, but be sure it is the right activity. Wrong activity = wrong results.” - Ken

There are no shortcuts. Check upline first to see if you are on the right track or not. The system works. It is proven. I will until. Keep consistent effort as this will move you faster towards your goal.

Duplication is the key.

Work the basics and perfect your own ability.

Practice daily on you in order to move you towards your goals and dreams. It may be a struggle at first, then it becomes natural over time. Use FORM method.

“Folks, I’ll take ignorance on fire over intelligence on ice anytime.” –  Ken

The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson is a great read.

The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy is a terrific book.

You have to be willing to say:

“I will do today what others won’t, so I will have tomorrow what others don’t. Discipline those distractions.”

3  Teaching Knowledge - The ultimate goal is to teach teachers to teacher teachers to teach and so on. That’s duplication.

In Napoleon Hill’s book, Think and Grow Rich, he mentions 4 basic ingredients of success that all multimillionaires possess:

A - A strong desire. Willing to fight through the obstacles.

B - Faith to see it through, even when the substance isn’t there.

C - Go to work. Be consistent.

D - Do it with integrity, even if it hurts.

“Success is a progression and realization of a worthwhile dream. It ain’t instant.
My motto is, I will until.” - Ken
