Host: Ryan Chamberlin and Robert Fason

New Year’s Kick Off is Saturday and now is the time to get on the phone with your team and get them to the Kick Off!

With the new year before us: “Begin with the end in mind” Stephen Covey and remember Resolutions are goals put into actions.

Keep the big goals in mind, they are important however to stay on track it is important to focus on the smaller incremental goals.

Over  700,000 people called Sears, Roebuck and Co. to order a cordless drill last year and not one wanted a drill…they wanted a hole.

On the top of your dream board put a piece of paper with a large dollar amount written on it (Like $10 Million)

·         Write down what you would do with the money. These are the big goals
·         Get what you can in visual form (a picture of the exact car you want, the exact house, and the exact vacation) and put them on your dream board.
·         Using the 80/20 formula figure out what it would take to achieve a goal.
The right activity is to show Team National to the right people
·         We need to learn if  the person is negative to just move on
·         Present with Posture – Don’t beg
o   Remember you are like the personnel director in your own company looking to fill a position
§  You don’t have to take everyone, you have to take the right ones
§  Don’t go into it thinking, I want to get this guy, go into it hoping this is the guy you’re looking for.
o   The Difference is attitude
Urgency
·         Ryan defines urgency as the speed at which you pursue your goals and dreams
·         People can feel your commitment
·         It is important to keep your energy high
