TN President & CEO Angela
“Our Believe to Achieve convention in Orlando will help you learn, grow, build believe and achieve great, great success in 2012.” - Angela
There still time for you to finish the year strong. We are
up double digits and there’s lots of momentum.
Andy Andrews is our keynote speaker at convention. He will
be great!
Host – 2010 Eagle
Winner & Double Platinum Sheila Steffes
“Lots of folks running hard for the cruise. This exciting promo has built up excitement and great momentum has been created in our teams.” - Sheila
Guest - Double
Platinum James Keller, NE
The first step with that new person is how to lead and
encourage them.
“At Team National, things are cooking and we sure do love that.” - James
“The cruise is an experience of a lifetime. The fun and fellowship you have will make you not won’t want to miss another one either. ” - James
Lots of momentum all around lots of new people coming in.
Moving levels is what Jennifer and I have always wanted to
do. Every pin level movement, means a pay raise. And this increases the belief level
in your team as well.
Let’s talk about new people and momentum
It’s important to figure out how best to help people take
that first step.
This is a people business.
“People that you are looking for are those that are willing to work, be teachable and have desire.” - James
Several different types of people. Broken down even more specifically to 3 types of people being hosted in:
1. Builders – Build
business and create income full or part-time.
2. Carriers – have
intentions of building it, but just to a part-time income. Limited growth.
3. Customers –
using membership savings, happy to spend less and save more. But not interested
in the optional income potential.
“Regardless of where these folks are at, love everybody where they’re at.” – James
Hopefully, they all, at some point want to become
builders. Inspire them along the way.
Circumstances always change though.
Builders – First
step starts at sign-up. Grab a Game Plan Training Book
A. The night you get
them started, jot those 10 names down (hot market list)
B. What is their why?
C. Book a meeting from
a meeting. (BAMFAM)
Then these folks tend to put themselves into 1 of 4 groups:
Those that do it their way and won’t accept help. These
people are not teachable.
Those that drag all the way. Unless you are there, they
won’t do it. These folks are time-wasters.
Those that try it their way and then try it your way. They
have initiative. They are willing to ask for help.
Those that you need to grab by the hand and help them take
those first few steps and lead them.
Always remember you are working with people, all types of
people.
The book from the Success Club ‘Finish Strong’ has a great
quote from Martina Navratilova:
“The difference between involvement and commitment is like ham and eggs. The chicken is involved, but the pig is committed.”
Charles Kettering quote – “Keep going and the chances are you will stumble on something. Perhaps when it is least expected, but I never heard of someone stumbling on something while sitting down.”
“Good news is it’s a people business. The bad news is it’s a people business. You will be tested, but stick with it.” - James
Also remember your why and goals and stick with it. Once you
reach your goal, reset it and shoot higher. This is a very forgiving business
and sometimes things work themselves out.
Nuggets: Never stop hosting people.
As David Hervey says, “ There ain’t no problems that hosting one more won’t fix.”
“Give birth and raise the dead.” – Dennis Martin
“The cruise and the Double Plat ring are earned, you can’t just buy these things.” - James
