Today we’ll cover Success Fundamentals #5  -How to have a successful home meeting  (staging for success) & #6 – How to follow up and follow through.

#5 - How to have a successful home meeting 

Sheila  Steffes – Your strategy should always remain the same. It is to minimize the distractions and maximize the information. The main purpose of any meeting is what we refer to as BAMFAM: Book A Meeting From A Meeting. This is how the momentum starts in your business.

Types of home meetings:

1st one for your new people. Hot market & warm market.

Or as a seasoned IMD, doing in-homes in depth and helping those folks grow.

Also, groups of IMDS in your community or town, where everyone brings a guest.  Our system is used a little more here. Remember, the key is to give out most amount of information and have the least amount of distractions.

A helpful tip is to call the host/hostess and give them helpful hints and coach them prior to their meeting.

It is easier to add chairs to a crowded room after the fact then have a bunch of empty chairs pre-set.

Keep refreshments minimal – cookies and coffee.

Secure pets in another room and get kids to babysitter – distractions.

Duplication is so important.

Try to make a connection and observe things around the house. Good conversation starts with similar interests.

Use success stories

Varying levels of exposures to our system.

Your credibility is key. Understanding what we can do for them.

#6 – How to follow up and follow through

Starts right after the DVD…starts with the calls that you put people on. Difference in packages, answering questions, sharing info.

Some people’s hesitations and objections stem from:

Lack of money

Lack of time

Lack of belief

Prior bad experience in network marketing

Find out what their objections are and get their questions answered. Keep a careful balance so as not to overload people with too much info either.

Save and Earn Guide Book, Team National News (newspaper)& Success From Home magazine are jst a few examples of the  powerful tools you can send home with folks to increase their interest and belief level.

It’s the little things that matter
