Host – Double Platinum Ken Kelm

Continuing with the month-long series…

“Things I’ve learned in a lifetime of networking marketing”

“Last week , we covered the following points:

1. Find your dream that’s worth fighting for
2. Be passionate about your dream
3. The company you keep/Association means everything.  Stay with others. Stay put. Stay the course and  surround yourself with positive, like-minded people. ” – Ken Kelm

Some of these lessons you may have heard before, which should only underscore their importance and timelessness.

Today’s guest speaker – Double Platinum Fred Swindle

“I’ve been in the industry for 42 years. And while I’ve seen plenty of changes over time, there are some key things that have passed the test of time and still hold true today.”   – Fred

“Teamwork is what makes the dream work” – Fred Swindle.

“You cannot save enough money to make you rich. You cannot sell enough memberships to make you rich. But, you can go out, build strong teams and become successful and rich in this industry. You don’t need prior network marketing experience,  what you do need is a strong dream, a desire and a great foundation to begin with. “ – Fred Swindle

What does it take to get rich? Build a network of teams.

Back when I got into this industry 42 years ago, there were 3 main ways to communicate/introduce folks into this business:

Telephone, face-to-face & US mail

Now with so many technological advancements, today we also have texting, the internet, Facebook and Twitter, etc.

“Also, we are fortunate at TN to have access to great trainings as well… A must is to listen to Robert Fason’s, “Why Before the How”.  Robert does a terrific job training on how to build a network marketing business. This is one of the greatest tools there is in building a successful organization, and it is exclusive to Team National.”

The in-home meeting is still the fastest way to build a business. Overviews and other local events are great as well. Take them to meetings and carpool to those local events and build to the national events, where you see the big picture.

Our Success Club promotes personal growth. This is key in life and in business. One of the greatest personal growth books is ‘The Strangest Secret’ by Earl Nightingale.

“You become what you think about” – Earl Nightingale.

Other great books are:

'Think and Grow Rich', by Napoleon Hill

'See You at the Top' – Zig Ziglar

'What it Takes to be Number One', by Vince Lombardi.

Some great speakers with great messages shared are:

Joel Osteen, Jim Rohn & John Maxwell.

Everyone has the same amount of time. What it really boils down to is how you use it.

Continue to coach. Continue to host. Attend meetings.

You are the one setting the example. Lead by example.

Get excited about what you are doing. Excitement is key! As  Eagle Winner & Double Platinum Larry McDonald always says, “I’m Excited!”

Keep it simple.

Work in depth.

Everyone needs a mentor.  My mentor was Dick Loehr. Credibility. Passion.

“You  don’t have to be great to work, but you do have to work to be great.” – Fred Swindle

John Maxwell - “We cannot become what we need by remaining what we are.” ... “If you start today to do the right thing, you are already a success even if it doesn't show yet.”

5 things that are key to TN:

1 – Teamwork
2 – Product
3 – Savings
4 – Industry
5 – Income
